Program Information

Treasure House of Hope (THH) is a one-year Christ-centered discipleship program offered to individuals who are lost, hurt, addicted, hopeless and desperate to change. At no cost, we house and train participants to make sound decisions based on biblical principles that produce the fruit of a changed life. We believe a changed life is key to family restoration.

Eligibility

  • Must present a negative Covid-19 test

  • Be 18 years of age or older (no children allowed)

  • Have no child abuse or sex offenses

  • Commit to one year

  • Must possess physical stamina and mental capacity to keep up with a rigorous daily schedule

  • Must be able to walk up to 5 miles a day, stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 25 lbs

  • Taking narcotic/psychotropic medicines must be disclosed at intake (discussed during interview)

    • No use of tobacco/vaping products

    • No cell phone or any electronic devices allowed

    • Can not be employed while in Phase I

    • Must disclose all legal issues at intake

  • Adhere to all house/community rules

    *Note: There is a 30-day blackout period with no written/verbal outside contact with family/friends.

Housing

Treasure House of Hope offers a loving, caring and safe home for men and women. Each home has a different location with the women’s home deemed a “Safe House”. Participants live in a dormitory style space with 6-10 individuals who are supervised by staff and/or trained volunteers. All participants have daily responsibilities to include chores. Live-in, certified Drug & Alcohol Counselors are on staff at all times.

Activities

Mandatory daily activities are schedule-driven and are not limited to, but include various life skill classes, drug & alcohol counseling, support groups, bible teachings and worship services. Treasure House of Hope Bread Ministry provides opportunities for participants to be trained and obtain experience in community outreach, customer service and evangelism.
