Treasure Bread

We bake 500-600 loaves of Treasure Bread every Friday at Mile High Commissary located at 1670 Jasper St. Unit H Aurora, CO 80011. We need volunteers on the 1st and 3rd Fridays. The time is 6pm-9pm. Please wear closed toed shoes and clothes you won’t mind getting dirty. Sometimes we will be smashing bananas. We have aprons and hair nets available, but you can always bring your own.

Shoe Drive

Currently, we are doing a shoe drive with Relevant Church. We could use your gently used sandals, boots, and shoes. We have a goal of 2,500 pairs of shoes that can go to those who need them. We have a drop off sight at 1725 Havana St. Aurora, CO 80010.

Threads of Love

April 25, 2020 will be our 5th annual Threads of Love event. We will give out hygiene packs, lunch bags, and clothing to those in the parking lot of our partner Adventure Dental at Boston and East Colfax. There will also be a bounce house for the kids! The best part is that it is all FREE!!! Would you be willing to host a hygiene, clothing, or shoe drive so we can share with those that are in need?

Hugs for the Holidays

December 21, 2019 will be our 2nd annual Hugs for the Holidays when we go to Civic Center Park downtown and give away winter gear, hot chocolate and hugs. We are in need of all winter gear including coats, hats, scarves, and gloves.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

The women and men of Treasure House of Hope literally changed my life. Their love and acceptance carried me through the toughest period of my life. Praise God for the lives that are forever changed

Nathan Cope

I visited Treasure House of Hope and interacted with the individuals in training for a month. My discovery is that the true authentic love of God is “Changing Lives and Restoring Families”. THH graduates enter the workforce as work ready! I witnessed businessmen, college students, managers and supervisors who had been trained in godly living, integrity and service go through their homes.

Sharon Reed

I graduated the Christian Discipleship Training Program in 2016 and God has changed me in ways that I would never have imagined. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is looking for a true change in their lives!

Just over a year ago I hit rock bottom and Jesus sent two angels from a place called the Treasure House of Hope. I’d been praying for two days and God answered my prayers. I thank God that I hit rock bottom because he showed me that he is my rock at the bottom. Thank you God for your faithful servants for being obedient and doing your will. They have shown me what it means to be a Disciple of Christ. If you have hit rock bottom and are ready to stand on that rock at the bottom, this is where you need to be.

Jesus Christ loves us so much. He showed me that the day I came to Treasure House of Hope. I was lost and in a very dark place. I thought home and family meant abuse and pain. I covered my hurts and fear in a sea of anger and addiction. I thought I was okay. I thought I was owed something because of my past. Jesus showed me His healing love in THH. I overcame addiction but my biggest VICTORY was me letting my past go and learning the true power of forgiveness and love. I learned how to love God, love others and love myself. I learned how to live in peace, free of anger and fear. I thank God, Angelia Anderson and THH for showing me how. If you’re lost and in the dark, there is light and hope at Treasure House of Hope.
